The
rooms are in the building housing the St Jean door which used to be the
drawbridge of the Commanderie.

The
ground floor room:

You
will discover a hand painted French ceiling on beams with ornamental
motifs. On the central beam, a series of small paintings telling the story
of a local legend: that of the baron of Lux, who, on one Easter day
disappeared in the Velvet Forest for having preferred hunting to church.

A
hallway, lighted by a window , leads to a closet , toilets and at the end
opens on the bathroom. This room used to be the castle prison and has kept
the old stone vaulted ceiling. There also is a private terrace, bordered by
small trees and flowers and opening on the park.

There
are two rooms in this suite: one with a view of the park and a homely
smell of waxed antique wood;
one
with a view on the river, in the half tower
adjacent
to the drawbridge. Between both rooms, a hallway, with the first
doors opening on a pink marble shower and the second on the toilets.

top apartment:
Over
the drawbridge, you will find a large bathroom with bathtub, shower and toilets,
a small fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable bedroom. There also is a cozy
lounge with a convertible sofa and superimposed beds for friends and children.
The view plunges on the castle tower, the river and the countryside.
